SUMMARY:NASb DWR SGM Grant Round II - 2026 Post-Component Public Meeting (March 24\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Hi All\, \nThe Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) of the North American Subbasin (NASb or Subbasin) would like to invite you to join us for a virtual meeting in which the NASb GSAs will present on the Department of Water Resources (DWR) Sustainable Groundwater Management (SGM) Round II Grant (Grant). The Grant was awarded to the Subbasin in September 2023 and a pre-component public meeting was held for the Subbasin on May 29\, 2024 (past meeting materials can be found here: https://nasbgroundwater.org/public-meetings/). The intent of this post-component public meeting is to share the general overview and information\, findings and results\, and respond to questions related to the six components (or projects) identified under the NASb DWR SGM Grant. \nPlease register for the event by clicking the ‘Going’ button below. The GSAs have been hard at work over the last year to update the Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) and preparation of the Periodic Evaluation to meet the needs of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). The purpose of these Workshops will be to share progress on the GSP update and Periodic Evaluation preparation. \nThe first public meeting was held virtually on November 19th\, 2025. This notice and invite is for the second public meeting scheduled for January 22\, 2026\, starting at 5:30PM.
